A tale of two friends…

Bill and Dan were talking one day about the present state of the economy.  Bill had a wife and three kids and just couldn’t seem to make ends meet.  He worked hard at his job, and his wife also worked, but they were just getting by, not getting ahead.  Dan could sympathize, He had worked hard all of his life, and saved as much as he could, and hoped to one day retire comfortably.  He never took a risk; he did not want to lose what he worked hard for.

Bill had taken some chances, some worked well and others did not.  They were both at a crossroad in their lives.  They both agreed that something had to change for things to get better.

Bill said “If something positive is going to happen for us, we have to make it happen.  Maybe we can start a business, even just part time.”  Dan was not the type to change much in his life, even if he was looking for a change.  “Bill, I wouldn’t go into a business, and risk my time and money.  If it doesn’t work out, I will be worse than I am today.”

“But Dan, if it does work out, we can dramatically change our lives for the better.”  Dan was not an easy one to convince.  “Abundant Life? No way, not me, I guess I will just spend the rest of my life talking about how tough things are.”

That was two years ago, and things are different now, for at least one of our friends.  Two months after having that conversation, Bill saw an ad for a business he could get started in for very little money.  The business was called Zeekrewards,  and it was all about having a more abundant life.  Bill was able to get started in a business for about the same amount that would have cost him to take his family out to dinner.

He started placing ads online, at least one a day, and started to make money right away.

He would tell his family and friends about the money he was making, and others were interested also. He also made a remarkable discovery after working this business.  By making money and telling others, Bill started to become a success dynamo.  People were attracted to him and loved his new-found confidence.  He also started making money, lots of money.

After working this business for six months, he was able to quit his job.  He now works full time working a business that he loves.  He can work as much or as little as he likes, along with his wife who was able to leave her job also.

That’s what I call “abundant life.” He is still good friends with Dan, in fact he invited Dan and his wife to stay with them for the weekend at their new vacation home.

As Bill likes to say, “Don’t wait for success to find you, go out and find it, grab it, and take abundant life on home.”
